Every tier is delivered by a licensed CPA firm on the same real estate chart of accounts. You move up a tier when the team grows, not when the work gets harder for us.

Fixed price confirmed after the diagnostic. Not sure which tier fits? That is what the call is for. We will tell you, and we will tell you if none of them do.
Most firms will not tell you what they charge until you have handed over your books, your time and your bank access. We think that is the wrong way round. Four steps, and you can stop after any of them.

The call, 25 minutesYou tell us how the team is structured and where your numbers come from. We tell you straight whether we can help, and which tier fits. No pitch deck. No number quoted on the spot, because a price given before we understand your structure is a guess. |
| 2 |
The recap, within four hoursA written summary of what we heard in your own words, the three things we would examine first, and a price range for the ongoing work. Sent before we ask you for anything at all. If the range does not work, you have spent 25 minutes and gained a document. |

The diagnostic, 1 to 2 weeksWe review 12 months of your production reports and financial statements. You get a written picture of what the business actually keeps, how your cost structure compares against real benchmarks for Canadian teams, and a fixed monthly price. The diagnostic is priced separately and credited in full against your first invoice. That document is yours whether you hire us or not. |

The engagementOne fixed monthly fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. Set by team size and entity count, not by hours, so it does not move when a month gets busy. It does not change unless your business does. |
Two things are quoted separately, because burying them in a monthly fee would mean charging every client for work only some of them need.
If earlier years need rebuilding before the numbers can be trusted, that is a one-time project quoted by year. You see the number before we start.
Incorporating, setting up a holding company, or reorganising how the business is owned. A defined project with a defined fee, not something that quietly appears on a monthly invoice.
Because two teams doing the same commission volume can be completely different businesses. One entity or four. Three staff or fifteen. Books that are current or two years behind. A published number would be wrong for most people who read it, and we would rather give you a real one within four hours than a fake one right now.
No. It is set by team size and entity count. A heavy month at year end costs you nothing extra, because the work getting harder for us is not your problem.
There is an engagement letter, which every CPA firm in Canada is required to have. It sets out what we do, what you provide, and what it costs. It is not a lock-in.
Then it has done its job, and the document is still yours. It is credited in full if you engage us, so a real buyer pays nothing for it either way.
Usually yes, because the chart of accounts gets rebuilt around splits and deal sides, and the books need to reconcile to your brokerage production reports every month. That is difficult to run across two firms. We will be straight with you about it on the call.
You move up a tier, and we agree the new fee before it takes effect. Growing into Finance Office from Essential means the reporting deepens, not that you change firms.
A 25 minute call, then a written range in your inbox within four hours. Before we ask you for anything.
